a) article19a.in is committed to doing its best to publish accurate information in all its content. We take several steps to ensure accuracy: We investigate claims with a grain of salt; Question assumptions; And challenge conventional wisdom. Received certifications with skills in fact checking laboratories and training with many national and international media agencies and organizations.


b) We are committed to achieving reasonable accuracy in all its outputs. This commitment is fundamental to our reputation and audience trust. The word ‘due’ means that the accuracy should be sufficient and appropriate for the output, taking into account the subject and nature of the content and clearly mentioning / outlining any constraints that may affect that expectation.


c) This means that all our output, consistent with its content and nature, must be well-sourced, based on available evidence, and verifiable. We strive to be honest and open about what we do not know and avoid unfounded speculation.


d) Our journalists never knowingly plagiarize or knowingly distort facts or context, including visual information.


e) We seek independent verification from sources to corroborate claims, information, allegations, especially those made by public officials or those with an agenda beyond simply reporting the truth. Claims, allegations, material facts, and other material that cannot be confirmed are typically attributed.

d) article19a.in stands by the information it publishes and believes it to be accurate. If proven otherwise, we change the news item/information as soon as possible. We do not knowingly and materially mislead our audiences. We do not distort facts, or present invented material as facts, which could undermine our audience’s confidence in our content. We acknowledge serious factual errors and correct them promptly, clearly and appropriately.


e) We provide a fair opportunity to the public to report any inaccuracies or errors in our reports through the ‘Suggest Corrections’ section appearing at the end of every web-story we publish.


f) The primary responsibilities of our journalists are reporting, writing and fact-checking stories. Stories are subject to review by one or more editors. article19a.in has a multi-tier fact-checking structure for stories that require due diligence. The seniority of editors who review a story before publication varies on a number of factors, including complexity, sensitivity, and time pressure. We are also constantly striving to enhance every type of specialty and skill.


Our Improvement Policies

While article19a.in constantly strives for excellence and accuracy, we do not deny the fact that we will occasionally make mistakes. When these errors occur, article19a.in will take responsibility for correcting the error and maintain a high level of transparency to ensure all parties are assured that misinformation is not spread.


To achieve the goals of accuracy, transparency and excellence, each party must take the following steps:


Reader:

If any reader notices an error, he or she should immediately contact the Editor-in-Chief by email, phone, mail, x or in person.

Subject: Need for improvement


No corrections are officially submitted unless a reader contacts the editor-in-chief directly. Corrections assigned to other staff members of article19a.in may not be addressed in a timely manner or at all.


If sent by email or mail, the correction should include the correction, issue date or number, where the correction was seen (in print, online, video, etc.), the reader’s name, and a phone number or email address at which They can be contacted. And could obtain necessary fact documents from them for improvement. Based on which readers should also include the correct information and a source where they got that information, if applicable. For example, if the Student Senate vote tally was incorrect, please provide details of that meeting.


Readers can expect a response from the Editor-in-Chief and may be contacted further if any clarifications are noted or the Editor requires further information. Please note that fix submission is a guarantee that the error will be investigated but not a guarantee that a fix will be released.

Once the editor-in-chief becomes aware of an error, he or she will investigate the error using information provided by the reader, meeting minutes, reporters’ recordings, and any other sources of information available to him or her.


If an error is found, the editor-in-chief will issue a correction to all forms indicating that information was transmitted incorrectly:

The corrections will be printed on page 2A in the next published issue. Along with corrections, problems, articles and incorrect information will also be shown.

The article will be corrected and an editor’s note added below the article stating what was incorrect and when the article was changed.


social media:

If the article was posted on Facebook, Twitter or any other online medium controlled by article19a.in, a post will be created linking to the correct article, noting the correction.


Once a correction is made, the editor-in-chief will contact the reader providing full information. Then things will be made available after making improvements.
